Welcome to Eshwar Nagar Residents' Welfare Association
Through this blog we shall attempt to keep our Residents
abreast with the latest information regards the developmental activities
being carried out by the Association.
This is a registered Association (Registration No. 48/05-06) of
residents of Eshwar Nagar at Manipal. It was formed in the year 2005-06. Eshwar Nagar Residents' Association exists to protect the interests and enhance the quality of life of residents. The broad objectives of association are:
- Promote and encourage community spirit and social activities.
- Carry out welfare activities to the fullest advantage of members
- Be aware of the interests and concerns of residents
- Seek resolution and make representation to various authorities where applicable.
- Achieve the broadest based representation of the community by maximizing the membership of the association.
Once in a year, the residents of Eshwar Nagar
Residents’ Welfare Association elect officers and committees to represent them
in matters relating to management and to provide leadership in matters of
common interest. These elected officials and committee representatives comprise
the officers and committees of the Eshwar Nagar Residents’ Welfare Association.
This Residents’ Association is a non-profit Association.
The overall leadership is provided by the
Association’s Executive Committee, which consists of the President, Vice
President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, and 9 Executive Committee
Members.
The Residents' Association is highly effective in
its leadership in representing the interests of residents to management and
others, and in providing information and recommendations to residents on
specific issues that impact on them, such as Clean Eshwar Nagar, exerting
pressure on local administration in providing certain civic issues like
rain-water drainage, shifting and construction of modern bus stand, developing
park, putting name boards, collection of garbage, etc.
