Annual General Meeting: 2013

Annual General Body Meeting of Eshwar Nagar Residents Association was held on Saturday the 14^th September 2013 at Vaishnavi Sabha Bhavana Manipal. The programme started with variety entertainment programme coordinated by Dr, H. J Gowri, and Ms. Shubha HNS Rao. There was active participation of family members of the Association in the entertainment programme. The entertainment programme concluded with a skit by the lady members of the Association. The whole entertainment programme were well appreciated by the members of the Association.

The Business Session commenced exactly at 7.30 pm with invocation by Dr. J. J Gowri, the Vice President of the Association. M. Srinivas Rao, the President of the Association welcomed the members of the Association. Dr. Shivaprasad H. C, Secretary of the Association read out the Annual Report and highlighted the activities undertaken by the Association. U. Sridhar, the Treasurer of the Association presented the audited financial statement for the year ended 31^st March 2013. Sri H. N. S Rao moved the resolutions to amend the clauses of Rules and Regulations of the Association and this was accepted by the members unanimously.

Later the President of the Association, Sri Srinivas Rao announced the appointment of Hon. Auditors for the two years term 2013-15. CA Dinakar Shetty, Executive Member of the Association was appointed as Hon. Auditor.

Sri K. Dinakar Shetty, Election Officer and Executive Member and Auditor of the Association conducted the election of new office bearers for the term 2014-2015. The following persons were appointed as office bearers:

1.       Prof. H. K. V Rao – President

2.       Dr. Gowri H. J – Vice-President

3.       Dr.Sureshramana Mayya – Secretary

4.       Dr.Shamsunder Bhat – Jt. Secretary

5.       Sri Prashanth Hegde - Treasurer

The new team was invited to the dais and introduced them to the General Body. Dr. H. J. Gowri, the Vice- President of the Association introduced the New President. The newly elected President, Prof. H. K. V. Rao explained in detail the past, present and future and detailed plan of action that he intends to implement in Eshwarnagar.  Dr. Mayya, the newly elected Secretary of the Association introduced the new members and the President gave away memento to all the newly joined members.

Prof. HKV Rao, President of the Association also distributed prizes to the winners at various competitions. Dr. SureshramanaMayya, the Secretary of the Association proposed vote of thanks.

Ms. Shubha HNS Rao was master of ceremony and conducted the programme systematically. The programme ended with national anthem and Dinner.
