Minutes of Executive Committee Meeting held on 8^th March, 2014 at the residence of Dr. Shiv Prasad H.G

The meeting started at 7.00 pm

1.      Present

Prof. H. K.V Rao,  Sri K. Prashant Hegde,  Dr. Shamsunder Bhat,  Dr. Arun Maiya, Prof. Shiv Prasad HG, Sri Harish G Kalmadi, Prof. N Yajnesh Sharma, Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, Sri Rajvarma Ariga, B,  Sri Srinivasa Poojari and Dr. Veerupaksha Devaramane

3.      Greetings

Prof. H.K.V Rao welcomed the members of Executive Committee.

4.      Releasing of Newsletter

Prof. H. K V Rao explained the importance of Women’s’ Day and requested Mrs. HNS Rao, the senior most member of Eshwar Nagar Residents’ Welfare Association to release the News Letter. Some of the snaps are given below:

5. Health Related Camp

It was proposed to conduct a health related camp for the benefit of members of Eshwar Nagar Residents Welfare Association. A committee has been formed with Dr. Veerupaksha Devaramane as the Coordinator and Dr. Shamsunder Bhat and Dr. Arun Maiya as members. It was decided to conduct the camp during the month of April second week. Members collectively felt that as in the last year, the camp would be conducted in the TMA Pai Polytechnic. Dr. Veerupaksha Devaramane will chalk out the programme and communicate with other members within a week. 

6. Review of Civic Works

The members also discussed the development of civic works in different parts of Eshawar Nagar. 

7. Other Matter

Other issues were also cropped up in the meeting. The discussions centred around on different issues like, Layout Chart, why it was delayed, the failure to obtain the minimum number of members for the  excursion, regular fogging at Eshwar Nagar, Cleaning of Streets at Eshwar Nagar, Requesting Municipal Authority for regular cleaning, Bus Bay and its procedural problems, the possible solutions like requesting with Shri Madhwaraj and District Authorities, etc.

Prof. H. K V Rao also distributed the calcium tablets to all the eligible family members of  Executive Committee  as part of World Women's Day Celebrations. The Calcium Tablets were supplied by Dr. Kiran Acharya of Kasturi Medical College.

It was also decided to conduct next EC Meeting in the residence of Prof. Yagnesh Sharma, before the Health Check Up Camp.

The President thanked the host  Dr. Shiva Prasad HG  and Mrs. Shiva Prasad and his children for providing hospitality.
