Greetings
Prof. H. K. V Rao welcomed
the executive committee members.
4.
Review of Civic Works taken up by
the Municipality
Mr. Srinivas Rao
explained in detail about the development as regards to civic works. Members
thanked Srinivas Rao for following up the works in different parts of Eshwar
Nagar.
Discussions were
centered on:

Civic
works ongoing

Civic
works newly identified.

Old
Civic works pending completion.
·
Civic
works relating to First Main Road – all completed.
·
Rain
Water Channel in all the roads
·
Fixing
uprooted sign boards – detailed discussions were made regarding this issue. It
was also thought of erecting uprooted sign boards through voluntary effort.
Members felt that signboards in 4, 5, 7 (Two in number) and 8th
Cross Roads were required to be erected, in some places, the signboards were
totally damaged. Ultimately, Sri
Srinivas Rao was requested to come forward with concrete measures and make the
estimate so as to erect the sign boards.

Bus Bay at Eshwar Nagar Bus Stand – Our
Senior Executive Committee Member Sri Srinivas Rao explained in detail the
reasons for the stagnation of work pertaining to Bus Bay. He told that in some
cases works were completed without proper sanction, he also brought to the
notice of EC Members – how cases were filed in Court for bringing to the notice
of Government about certain issues – ultimately, it was resolved to meet the
District Commissioner and appraise him the work relating to Bus Bay. It was
also suggested to request the authorities about the encroachment of earmarked
area of bus bay by some people.
6.
Community Park – Sri Srinivas Rao
informed the members about the sanctioning of Rs. 5 lakhs for the Community Park
near the Dairy, which was appreciated by all.
7.
Renewal of Registration – The President
of the Association, Prof. HKV Rao explained in detail the formalities completed
and the efforts of office bearers of association to get the final consent of
the authorities to get the association renewed. The members also permitted to
pay the amount for the renewal on actual basis. It was estimated that an amount
of Rs. 15,000 will have to be spent for this purpose.
8.
Collection of annual subscription
It was also decided
to collect the subscriptions from the members and delete the members who failed
to pay subscription. Dr. Mayya and Sri Prashanth Hegde were requested to
finalize this process in consultation with Sri Srinivasa Rao.
9.
Vote of Thanks –

Mayya, Secretary of the Association thanked the members for actively
participating in the deliberations. He also thanked Mrs. Srinivasa Poojari, Mr.
Srinivasa Poojari, his two daughters for the nice hospitality. Mr. Srinivas
Poojari arranged a grand dinner and high tea for the members and to their
family, which was appreciated by all the participants.
