Dr. HJ Gowri was kind enough to sponsor the Dinner and Dr. Shanmsunder Bhat agreed to sponsor the Tea and Snack on the AGM Day. Prof. HKV Rao will take up the responsibility of Ice Cream. As the nomination was received from some members, it was unanimously decided to give opportunity to them.

5.      Vote of Thanks – 

Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, the Secretary of the Association thanked the members for actively participating in the deliberations. He also thanked Mrs. Sharma and the daughter of Dr. Sharma for the delicious high tea provided by themto the members of the Executive Committee including to their family members.

The following core committee members attended the core committee meeting held at the residence of Prof. HKV Rao. Prof. H.K.V Rao, President, Dr. HJ Gowri, Vice President, Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, Secretary, Sri HNS Rao, EC Member and Sri K. Srinivas Rao, Member of the Association.

Prof. HNS Rao, the President of the Association started the meeting with a detailed discussion on the AGM. A question which has often been emerged - how to collect dues from members. Dr. H. G. Gowri, the Vice President of the Association was kind enough to sponsor the entire expenditure of the Dinner of the Annual General Body Meeting to be held on 26-09-2015, which relieved the major burden of the Association. Prof. HKV Rao agreed to sponsor the expenditure relating to providing of ICE Cream for the Dinner. Dr. Shamsunder Bhat decided to sponsor the entire expenditure of Tea and Snakes of Meeting.

Minutes of Executive Committee Meeting held on 14^th June at the residence of Prof. Dr. Yjnesh Sharma

The meeting started at 7.00 pm

1.      Present

3.      Greetings- Prof. H.K.V Rao welcomed the members of Executive Committee.

4.      Audited Accounts – Sri Prashanth Hegde, Treasurer presented the rough estimate of accounts. The EC approved the accounts. The EC complemented the efforts of Sri Prashanth Hegde and Mr. Ariga for the contributions made. The Secretary has been entrusted the responsibility of auditing the accounts duly from a qualified Chartered Accountant with the help of Treasurer.

5.      Civic Work Developments – A detailed discussion was imitated by Sri Srinivas Rao about the old and new pending works. The discussion was centered around Bus Bay, visiting of DC Office to expedite the work, fixing the sign board, fixing of uprooted sign boards, requesting the help of Sri Mahesh Thakur, work at Pandavakere Area, the slab near Sri Dinakar Shetty’s house, repair work near Third Main Road. Dr. Gowry suggested that some of the works may be taken up the Association itself.  Sri Srinivasa Poojari, EC Member suggested to expedite the repair work near Big Boss Hotel. Sri Kalmadi requested to take up the installation of light near VIII(A) Cross.  Discussion was also carried out on new civic works like the pending work in Acharya Layout, VII Cross Road, Online lodging of complaint to Udupi Muncipality, construction of Strom Water Channel in the entire Colony, widening of II Main Road.

6.      Other Matters – such as collection of pending subscriptions, Garden Developments, giving of representation, the possibility of starting construction in the next month.

7.      Vote of Thanks –
