Eshwar Nagar Residents' Welfare Association Continues Clean Eshwar Nagar Compaign

As a part of Eshwar Nagar Clean campaign,  an Awareness about (SLRM), ie. Solid-Liquid Resource Management, segregation and disposing and management was given by Mr Prakash Shenoy, Principal, Indira Shivaram Polytechnic, Kadiyali. The programme was conducted on 20^th  October 2018 at the starting point of Dairy Road. He also demonstrated the user-friendly tools to clean our neighbourhoods. The programme commenced at 7.30 am and ended at 8.30 am. The members cleaned the surrounding of Eshwar Nagar Later. The President of the Eshwar Nagar Resident Welfare Association Dr Yagnesh Sharma, Harish G Kalmadi, the Secretary of the Association, Dr. Raghavendra Kamath, the Treasurer of the Association, Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, the Vice President, the members of the Executive Committee Dr. Shivaprasad, Senior Advisor Sri Srinivasa Rao, Artist Srinath Manipal, Santhosh, Srinath, Rakshith  and all the office bearers attended the programme. Mr Manjunatha, the Councillor of Eshwar Nagar also present on this occasion and gave directions.

ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಈಶ್ವರ ನಗರ ವಾರ್ಡಿನ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ

ಇಂದು ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ದಿನಾಂಕ 12 ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ರಂದು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ 5.30 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಡಾ. ಟಿಎಂಎ ಪೈ ಪೊಲಿಟೆಚ್ನಿಕ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಶ್ವರ ನಗರ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಒಳ ಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಸಂವಾದ ಸಭೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಣಿಪಾಲ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸುದರ್ಶನ್ ಎಂ ರವರ ಸಹಿತ ಇತರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನಮ್ಮ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ನ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಲಹೆ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವೀ ಗೊಳಿಸ ಬೇಕಾಗಿ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ ವಿನಂತಿ.

Swachhta Hi Seva at Eshwar Nagar Residents’ Welfare Association

As decided in the Annual General Body Meeting held recently, the members of Eshwar Nagar Residents Welfare Association responded to the call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and held Swachhta Hi Seva at Eshwar Nagar on 30^th September 2018. All the members gathered near the starting point of Dairy Road and conducted a small inaugural function addressed by Dr Yajnesh Sharma, the President of Eshwar Nagar Residents Welfare Association and Mr Majunath, the Councillor of Eshwar Nagar Ward. Mr Harish G Kalmadi, the Secretary of the Association also spoke on this occasion, and he made all the logistic arrangements for the success of the programme.

On September 12, the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi announced the launch of “Swachhta hi Seva” campaign, commemorating the 150 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. It is a part of Swachh Bharat campaign and will go on for two weeks (September 15-October 2), concluding on Gandhi’s birth anniversary as well as the fourth-year anniversary of Swachh Bharat. Dr Yajnesh Sharma spoke on fulfilling Bapu’s dream of Clean India and called the residents of Eshwar Nagar to make Eshwar Nagar a model township. The cleanliness drive will be continued on every third Saturday morning; attempts will be made to request all the residents to keep their premises clean.

Later, Harish G Kalmadi, the Secretary of Eshwar Nagar Residents Welfare Association formed various teams to carry out the “Swachhta hi Seva” in various part of Eshwar Nagar. The members cleaned the different parts and also requested the flat owners and student residents to maintain Eshwar Nagar clean. Municipal Health Workers also participated in the drive. Senior Members and Members of Executive Committee Members, Sri HKV Rao, Sri HNS Rao, Sri Rajavarma Ariga, Dr Shamsunder Bhat, Dr Arun Mayya, Dr. Raghavendra Kamath,  Lt. Cr Madhav Shanbhag, Dr. Gowri and many members of the Eshwar Nagar Residents’ Welfare Association took part in the ‘Swachhta hi Seva”.  Mr Manjunath, the Councillor of Eshwar Nagar ward offered High Tea and Snakes at Polytechnic Canteen to those members who volunteered in the campaign.
