Notice of EC Meeting

 Dear EC Members, Advisors, and Mr. Manjunath,

I am writing to inform you that the next Executive Committee meeting of the Eshwarnagar Residential Welfare Association (ERWA) will be held on 29-04-2023 (Saturday) at 7 pm. The meeting will take place at my residence, located in Shenoy's Compound, opposite Kailas Stores, Main Road, Eshwar Nagar.

The agenda for the meeting given below and it is requested that all members attend and actively participate in the discussions. Your presence and input are valuable to our association's success, and we hope to see you all there.

AGENDA:

1. Approval of minutes of the previous Executive Committee Meeting held on 11-03-2023 and any feedback by members.

2. Report by the Secretary on activities and initiatives carried out by ERWA since the last ECM.

3. Submission of latest dues pending list and discussion on writing off uncollectable old dues amounting to Rs. 2,470/- from 7 members as on date.

4. Approval of the second list of members for removal from the Master list of members.

5. Discussion on the status of the Community Park and any proposed actions or improvements.

6. Fixing the date, time and venue for the next ECM.

7. Any other matter with the permission of the chair.

Executive Committee Meeting Minutes - Eshwarnagar Residential Welfare Association (ERWA) - Meeting No. 009/21-23 - 11-03-2023

Minutes of the Executive Committee meeting held on 11-03-2023 of the Eshwarnagar Residential Welfare Association (ERWA), Meeting No. 009/21-23, at Mr. Rajavarma Ariga's residence, "Sriraksha," 2nd Cross Road, Eshwar Nagar, Manipal-576104 at 7 PM, presided over by Mr. Dinakara Shetty, President of ERWA, are as follows:

The President, CA. Dinakara Shetty, welcomed all present, and the minutes of the previous Executive Committee meeting held on 08-01-2023 were read out by the Secretary, Mr. Prakash Shenoy, and approved by the committee. The Secretary then reported that there were no other major issues or activities undertaken by ERWA, and routine matters related to utilities in the colony were coordinated.

The committee discussed the matter of cancellation of membership of the Association of a few more members on pending dues and other reasons. The list will be put up for approval in the next EC meeting. The Treasurer, Mr. Nagaraj K., briefed the committee on the matter of pending dues collection from existing members, and as the fee collection drive is on currently, a fresh list of members with dues pending will be made available in the next meeting for suitable decision and actions.

The committee discussed the matter relating to road signboards and other pending issues, and Mr. Manjunath, Councillor, informed over the phone that the tendering process has been completed, and the work on the signboards in the colony is likely to begin within 2 to 3 days. The committee also discussed the matter relating to the Community Park and decided to write a letter to the DC, Udupi, and also meet Mr. Raghupathi Bhat, Local MLA, on the matter.

The committee discussed the matter relating to the Association newsletter and informed that currently, there is a shortage of articles for publishing the newsletter. It was decided to release the same during the next AGM and continue thereafter on a biannual basis.

The next Executive Committee meeting was scheduled to be held on 29-04-2023 (Saturday) at 7 PM at Mr. Nagaraj. K's residence, "Sree Krishna Kripa," 17nd Cross Road, Eshwar Nagar, Manipal-576104. With the permission of the chair, the committee decided to send a complaint letter to the DC, Udupi, regarding the day-long sound pollution nuisance created on 08-03-2023 on the Diary Road by the commercial program organizers and the late-night cracker-busting nuisance during the Deepavali festival on the Highway adjacent to our colony and the Diary road.

The Treasurer, Mr. Nagaraj, thanked Mr. Rajavarma Ariga for hosting the EC Meeting at his house, and the meeting concluded by singing the national anthem.
