Minutes:

1. President CA Dinakara Shetty formally welcomed all attendees. The minutes of the previous Executive Committee Meeting (No.09) held on March 11, 2023, were approved.
2. The Secretary reported on activities conducted since the last meeting: notable achievements included the successful collection of outstanding dues and a membership drive, which resulted in the addition of 9 new members to the association.
3. The committee discussed cancellation of memberships due to outstanding dues and other issues. Five members were approved for cancellation. However, Mr. Sanjay Nayak's cancellation was deferred, as Senior Advisor Mr. Srinivasa Rao offered to mediate in resolving his outstanding dues.
4. Treasurer Mr. Nagaraj K briefed on the collection of pending dues from existing members. The committee approved to write off Rs.11,200.00 from 9 members as bad and doubtful debt.
5. Advisory Member Prof. Vishwanatha Rao H.K emphasized that the decision to write off dues should not set a precedent and stressed the importance of preventing dues accumulation.
6. Prof. Vishwanatha Rao proposed the formation of a core committee in the next meeting for selecting office bearers for the next term.
7. A revised list of members with outstanding dues will be provided in the next meeting for further actions.
8. The association's financial status as of April 28, 2023 was shared:
• Bank balance: Rs. 84,128.00
• Fixed Deposit: Rs. 1,07,256.00
• Cash on hand: Rs. 8,207.00
9. The issue related to the Community Park will be addressed after the election process is completed.
10. Dr. Balachandra Muniyal suggested installing a barricade at the Vaishnavi U-turn junction due to increasing accidents, and it was decided to write a request letter to the concerned authorities.
11. The relocation of the Eshwarnagar bus stop board was discussed. The Secretary will follow up with the highway engineer.
12. The next Executive Committee Meeting will be held on June 17, 2023 (Saturday), at 7pm at the residence of Dr. Arun G. Maiya, 6th Cross Road, Eshwar Nagar, Manipal-576104.
13. No additional issues were discussed under the permission of the chair.
14. Treasurer Mr. Nagaraj thanked Mr. Prakash Shenoy for hosting the meeting at his residence.
15. The meeting concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
