Agenda
& Minutes of the Meeting:
1. Opening Remarks: Prof. Sureshramana Mayya initiated the
meeting by acknowledging the presence of all attendees and emphasizing the
importance of community collaboration.
2. Previous Meeting Recap: The Secretary, Mr. Prakash Shenoy, meticulously read the minutes from the last meeting (EC Meeting [No. 10], 29-04-2023). Upon review, the minutes were unanimously approved without any revisions.
3. Association Activities Report:
1. It was reported that there were no significant incidents or challenges since the last EC meeting.
2. The Association has actively been engaging with local authorities. Letters from the DC Office, UCMC, and DC-excise concerning the Holi sound pollution issue dated 01-04-2023 were showcased. These letters highlighted the actions being taken to resolve the issue.
3. Despite efforts, no new members have been onboarded to the association since the last EC meeting.
4 Concerns were raised about the UCMC's inactivity regarding the installation of new road sign boards and repainting of deteriorated ones.
5. Routine coordination and maintenance of utilities in the colony have been efficiently managed, ensuring no disruptions in services.
6. Membership Review: Deliberations were held on the cancellation
of Mr. Sanjay Nayak's membership due to prolonged dues and other undisclosed
reasons. A unanimous decision was reached to proceed with the cancellation and
his details would be omitted from the official members' directory.
7. Financial Briefing:
Mr. Nagaraj K, the Association's Treasurer,
presented a comprehensive financial update.
A motion was proposed regarding the
outstanding debt of Rs.1,200.00 from Mr. Boggu Poojary. After discussing the
circumstances, it was unanimously decided to write off this amount as bad debt.
An updated list of members with pending dues
will be curated and presented in the subsequent EC meeting for review and
necessary action.

4. Community
Park Development: The committee
resolved to draft a formal request to the local Councillor, Mr. Manjunath. This
letter would emphasize the importance of the community park and request his
intervention with the relevant departments.
5. Schedule of Next Meeting: It was unanimously agreed that the next EC meeting will be convened on 12-08-2023 (Saturday) at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be hosted at the residence of Dr. Arun G. Maiya.
6. Open Forum:
The committee discussed the ongoing bore well
and open well recharging plan survey. It was decided to allocate more resources
to expedite the survey and discuss findings in the upcoming meetings.
A proposition was introduced regarding the
establishment of road humps within the colony. The motion was tabled until a
detailed survey on the matter is presented.
7. Acknowledgments: Prof. Yagnesh Sharma N extended gratitude to
Mr. Nagaraj K for his generosity in hosting the meeting, ensuring a conducive
environment for productive discussions.

Closure: The meeting culminated with a sense of unity,
with attendees standing in reverence to sing the national anthem.
