Free Health Check-up Camp in association with KMC Manipal was held under the auspicious of Eshwar Nagar Residents Welfare Association, Eshwar Nagar on 25th February 2019 at Dr. TMA Pai Polytechnic, Eshwarnagar. The camp started at 9 am and Sri T Ranga Pai, the Administrative Officer of Dr. TMA Pai Polytechnic inaugurated the programme. He appreciated the service rendered by the office bearers of Eshwar Nagar Residents’ Welfare Association and expressed his full support for all the endeavours of the association. Dr. Arun Maiya, Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences, Manipal dwelt in detail the imperatives of foot care, the steps to be followed, the recent advances and facilities available at Manipal. Later, Sri Manjunath, the Counsellor of Eshwar Nagar explained various schemes available to public and also appreciated the role of office bearers of Eshwar Nagar Welfare Association. Dr. Gowri, former President of Eshwar Nagar Residents’ Welfare Association expressed satisfaction over the work carried our by the members, appreciated the contribution of all the office bearers of the Association and wished the function all the success. Later, the President of Association, Dr. Yagnesh Sharma explained in detail the contribution of various persons to make the camp an effective one, he also explained the various activities rendered by the Association for the benefit of the members. Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, Vice President of the Association thanked the functionaries and participants who contributed for the success of the programme. Mr. Harish G Kalmadi, the Secretary of the Association coordinated the programme and also compered the programme. Dr. Raghavendra Kamath, the Treasurer of the Association was also present on the stage. The members of the Executive Committee, Dr. Balachandra Muliyal, Sri Srinivasa Poojari, Prof. HKV Rao, Sri HNS Rao, Sri Rajavarma Ariga, Dr. Srikanth, Dr. Shiva Prasad, and residents of Eshwar Nagar were present on this occasion.
Experts from KMC conducted Bone Density Test, Sugar and Blood Pressure Test, Diabetic Foot Test and Consultations were conducted at the venue.
