EC Meeting held on 29th December at the residence of Shri HNS Rao

Executive Committee Meeting of Eshwar Nagar Residents Welfare Association was held at the residence of Shri HNS Rao, Senior Advisor, Eshwar Nagar Residents Welfare Association on 29th December 2019.  The following members of the Executive Committee attended the meeting.

Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, the President of the Association welcomed the members and initiated the discussion by thanking the members for their support in all the endeavors of the Association. The members of the Association observed a minute salience for the departed soul of Sri Vishvesha Tirtharu, the Senior sage of Adhokshaja Pejavar Mutt. He initiated discussion with the agenda points discussed in the last meeting completed during November 3^rd at the residence of Dr. S Mayya

1. Streetlights – Due to the relentless efforts of Counsellor, Dr. Mayya explained that the problem has been resolved to a greater extent. Mr. Manjunath explained the coming of Street Light Light Maintenance team on last Saturday and replacing of 35 tube lights in Eshwar Nagar Ward. He brought to the attention of all the members that from last one-month period the street light team made 3 visits including last Saturday and replaced around 80 lights. Still around 20 to 30 lights are to be replaced or to be repaired. He said that due to non-availability of LED lights their replacement is pending, and the Counselor made and extensive visit of all the roads and noted the working and not working streetlights.  The EC Members appreciated the work of Counsellor for the improvement of the situation.

2.      Increasing of Membership Fees – The EC permitted the office bearers to call Extraordinary G Meeting to increase the Membership Fees. The President sought the permission of members to call Extra Ordinary General Body Meeting  which may be finalized after the core committee meeting.  

3.      Heath Camp – In connection with Dental Camp and Health Camp, the EC permitted to hand over the responsibility of conducting Dental Camp to Dr., Srikanth, the Joint Secretary of the Association. Afterwards, the Association may think about Health Camp.

4. Sign Boards – Sri Manjunath may be requested to follow it up with Municipality and DC Officials. In this connection, the office bearers of the Association my sit together with Sri Manjunath to draft a letter.

5. Including Female Members as members of the Association – the EC Permitted the Treasurer to include female members and accept the membership dues from them.

6. The Treasurer also presented the financial condition of Association. After meeting the expenditure of AGM and other related expenditure, right now the balance is Rs. 21,000. Secretary of the Association, Mr. Nagaraj K thanked Mrs. HNS Rao, Mrs. Subha HNS Rao and Mr. HNS Rao  and also thanked senior Advisory Committee Members – Dr. Gowri, Sri HNS Rao, Prof. HKV Rao, and all the EC Members for devoting their prime time for the betterment of Eshwar Nagar. He also sought any voluntary hosting of next EC Meeting, for which there are many takers, ultimately, it was agreed to hold EC Meeting during the Second Week of February at the residence of Shri Nagaraj K, the Secretary of the Association.
