EC Meeting at the residence of Sri Ganapathi V Kamath

 Proceedings of the Executive Committee meeting held on 19-06-2022:

MINUTES:

Mr. Dinakar Shetty (President) welcomed all present.

1.     The minutes of ECM held on 01-05-2022 were read out by the Secretary and the same was approved.

2.     Report on activities held after last ECM- by Secretary:

a.  During the last 2 months UCMC no new LED lights fitted (in place of older tube lights) in the colon

b.   The dog menace in the colony is fairly controlled.

c.   On account of rain  season, activities such as cleaning up empty plots, cutting of unsafe tree branches and shifting the wood, coconut leaves/ shells has been stopped for the time being in the colony.

d. Extensive storm water trench clearing work has been taken up in the colon  b  the municipally in the last two months in view of the forthcoming rain  season.

3.    There is no visible progress on the matter relating to road side sign boards, despite repeated follow ups with Mr. Mahesh Thakur, and the Municipal council.

On this matter, our councillor Mr. Manjunath informed that at present the tendering process is on for all the 38 wards under UCMC and the implementation will start soon after the rain  season is over. 

4.  On the empty plot matter, our association will keep updating the contact details of the plot owners and give data to UCMC for suitable action. Our councillor Mr. Manjunath will be coordinating on the matter.

5.  Mr. Nagaraj K Treasurer briefed on the matter relating to pending dues collection from existing members. Rs. 10,600.00 (old balance) has been collected from 8 members for the term 2022/23. Bank deposit as on 14-06-2022 of the Association is Rs. 69,884.41. The cash balance in hand is Rs.2425.00.

6.     One new member [Dr.Raghu, 12^th Cross, 2^nd main has joined ERWA.

7.   It has been decided to conduct the next EC meeting on 21-08-2022 at 7 pm. at Prof.Sureshramana Mayya’s residence (8-96-3,”Ananya”, Acharya Layout, 4^th Cross, Diary Road, Eshwar Nagar),

8.  Prof. Yajnesh Sharma reported that all ground work for restarting the Newsletter [In bilingual mode- English and Kannada] of the association has been completed, photos have been arranged and is waiting for sponserers of advertisements to make itself sustaining. Materials/Articles are being invited for the forthcoming issue.
